Aifat Timur Tengah Maybrat – metro24 news.com ||One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 501/Bajra Yudha Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in Maybrat Regency, Papua Barat Daya Province. On Wednesday, 6 November 2024, the 501 Task Forces Patrol Team implemented the results of Social Communication with Community Leaders of Kamat Village, Aifat Timur Tengah District, to organize a community work service cleaning up the Kamat environment.
Commander of the 501 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Yakhya Wisnu Arianto, emphasized the importance of the Task Force’s attention to the community’s basic needs around their Posts. Therefore, since mid-October, the Soldiers have conducted Social Communication with the Community Leaders of Kamat Village about the environmental cleaning work plan. After the discussion, it was agreed that the cleaning time would be on Wednesday (6/11) morning, and the cleaning sector would be cleaning the roads, gutters, and areas around the residents’ housing.
The joint community work, which was the first time involving the community and the Soldiers on duty in Papua, was a testament to the active participation of the Kamat residents. The roads, gutters, and areas around the Kamat residents’ housing were all cleaned with the combined efforts of the Soldiers and the residents. After the activity, Mr. Roni Fatemyo, Community Leader of Kamat Village, said, “Thank you, Commander 501. Kamat Village is clearer now. God bless”.
Upon receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 501 Task Forces’ initiative to collaborate with the community to clean the Kamat Village area. His words: ‘The 501 Task Forces’ initiative is a shining example of TNI inclusive social communication with all parties to support accelerating development in the Papua region.’ This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the significant impact of such initiatives on the region’s development, instilling a sense of progress and hope about their potential to shape the region’s future positively. It makes the Task Forces and the community feel recognized and appreciated for their efforts.

Warga Kamat Sambut Kerja Bakti Habema Bersihkan Lingkungan
Aifat Timur Tengah Maybrat– metro24news.com || Satuan Tugas Batalyon Infanteri (Satgas Yonif) Para Raider 501/Bajra Yudha Kostrad, sebagai salah satu Satuan Jajaran Komando Operasi HABEMA di Papua, tengah melaksanakan tugas Operasi Pengamanan Perbatasan Mobil RI-PNG, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Maybrat, Provinsi Papua Barat Daya. Pada hari Rabu, 6 November 2024, Tim Patroli Satgas Yonif 501 Kostrad merealisasikan hasil Komunikasi Sosial dengan Tokoh Masyarakat Kampung Kamat, Distrik Aifat Timur Tengah, dalam rangka menyelenggarakan kegiatan kerja bakti pembersihan lingkungan Kamat.
Dalam penekanannya kepada para Prajurit TNI, Komandan Satgas Yonif 501 Kostrad, Letkol Inf Yakhya Wisnu Arianto, menyampaikan pentingnya perhatian Satgas kepada kebutuhan dasar masyarakat di sekitar Pos. Oleh sebab itu, sejak pertengahan bulan Oktober yang lalu, para Prajurit TNI telah melakukan Komunikasi Sosial dengan Tokoh Masyarakat Kampung Kamat, terkait rencana kerja bakti pembersihan lingkungan. Setelah diskusi, disepakati waktu pembersihan pada hari Rabu (6/11) pagi dengan sektor pembersihan meliputi pembersihan jalan, selokan dan area sekitar pemukiman warga.
Setelah persiapan selesai dilaksanakan, para Prajurit TNI bersama warga Kamat antusias melaksanakan kegiatan pembersihan yang baru pertama kalinya dilakukan bersama melibatkan warga masyarakat dan Prajurit TNI yang sedang bertugas di Papua. Area jalan, selokan dan sekitar pemukiman warga Kamat seluruhnya tidak lepas dari sentuhan tangan para Prajurit TNI dan warga masyarakat yang bahu membahu kerja bakti pembersihan. Usai kegiatan, Bapak Roni Fatemyo, Tokoh Masyarakat Kampung Kamat, berkata “Terima kasih Komandan 501, Kampung Kamat lebih bersih. Tuhan memberkati“.
“Inisiatif Satgas Yonif 501 Kostrad bekerjasama dengan masyarakat membersihkan wilayah Kampung Kamat, merupakan upaya TNI melaksanakan Komunikasi Sosial inklusif dengan seluruh warga di Daerah Tugas, dalam rangka mendukung percepatan pembangunan di wilayah Papua”, ungkap Panglima HABEMA, Brigjen TNI Lucky Avianto, pasca menerima laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan.(Ari )
